History

Val Gardena was once heavily influenced by the farmer life, that’s why various neighbourhoods in the valley were named after the field names of the major farms. RUACIA is the field name of a farmstead of formerly two barns and two farmer houses. Half of one of these two farm houses is now our CHALET DA MONT newly constructed in summer 2013.

Written records date that our farm house was built about 500 years ago. Before and during the demolition of this heirloom, the wood panelling, the wooden floors and the load-bearing wood frame were removed with great care, in order to reuse it to make the ENTIRE FURNITURE for the apartments! Planned and built by a local specialized carpenter and a young South Tyrolean architect: a perfect blend of TRADITION and DESIGN.

  • Short stays: from 1 to 2 night with additional of 20%; from 3 to 5 nights with additional of 15 %

FURTHER CONDITIONS

  • LOCAL TAX: Starting from the 1st of January 2014 South Tyrol introduces the local tourism tax. This tax is charged per guest per overnight, in our guest house it is up to Euro 1,45 per person per night. Children under 14 years are exempt from the tax.

SKI RENTAL -15%

  • As a special service for our guests, our partner INTERSKI SASLONG, right the next door, offers you advantageous offers for the rental of ski- and snowboard equipment.

ARRIVAL/ DEPARTURE:

  • Arrival: the apartment is available from 4 p.m. Luggage storage on request.
  • Departure: We kindly ask you to leave the apartment before 9:00 a.m.

BOOKING CONFIRMATION

  • In order to confirm a booking we need a deposit of 30% of the lodging costs which can be remitted via bank transfer.
